My work is rooted in a simple belief: Every family deserves to feel supported after birth.
My background combines postpartum doula training, lactation education, psychology, and herbal education to provide whole-family support during one of life’s biggest transitions.
I completed my herbal education through the Modern School of Herbal Medicine and have completed my postpartum doula training while working toward my DONA International certification.
I am also a certified Lactation Consultant, allowing me to provide education and support for common infant feeding questions while recognizing when families would benefit from referral to additional specialists.
My educational background in psychology deeply influences my approach to postpartum care. I understand that welcoming a baby affects far more than physical recovery. It changes identity, relationships, routines, expectations, and emotional wellbeing.
My goal isn’t to tell parents what they should do. It’s to help them discover what feels right for their family while providing compassionate guidance, practical education, and evidence-informed resources along the way.

Every family deserves to feel welcomed, respected, and safe.
I proudly provide affirming care for families of all backgrounds, identities, cultures, and family structures, including LGBTQIA+ families and BIPOC communities.
I recognize that every family’s story is unique, and I strive to create an environment where each client feels seen, heard, and supported without judgment.
Every family deserves to be cared for with compassion, respect, and evidence-informed support.
At San Diego Family Doula, these values guide every interaction, every home visit, and every family I have the privilege of serving.
The postpartum period is deeply personal. Whether you’re experiencing joy, uncertainty, exhaustion, grief, or all of the above, you deserve care without judgment. I strive to create a calm, supportive space where parents feel heard, respected, and empowered.

Sometimes the greatest gift is simply having someone who listens, reassures, and reminds you that you don’t have to navigate this season alone.
Confident parents are informed parents.
Rather than telling families what they should do, I provide evidence-informed education so you can make decisions that align with your values, lifestyle, and goals.
From newborn care and infant feeding to postpartum recovery and family adjustment, my role is to help you feel prepared, not overwhelmed.
When a baby is born, an entire family is transformed.
Postpartum care isn’t just about newborns, it’s about supporting parents, partners, siblings, and the family as a whole.
My approach recognizes that physical recovery, emotional wellbeing, nutrition, rest, relationships, and community are all interconnected. By caring for the entire family, we create the foundation for everyone to thrive

My goal is to honor your family’s traditions, preferences, and lived experiences while providing individualized support that reflects your unique journey.
Parenthood is filled with advice. Often conflicting advice.
My practice is grounded in current research, professional education, and established postpartum care principles while recognizing that every family’s needs are different.
I believe the best care blends scientific evidence with compassionate support, thoughtful listening, and respect for parental intuition.
No one professional has every answer, and no family should be expected to navigate postpartum alone.

No one professional has every answer, and no family should be expected to navigate postpartum alone.
One of the core responsibilities of a postpartum doula is to recognize when additional support would be beneficial and connect families with trusted professionals.
Through a growing network of healthcare providers, birth workers, lactation specialists, pelvic floor therapists, mental health professionals, and community resources, I help families build the village they deserve.
My goal is not to create dependence—it’s to build confidence.
Each visit is an opportunity to help parents feel more capable, informed, and connected to their own instincts.
I believe parents already hold incredible wisdom. My role is to offer education, encouragement, and support that helps that confidence grow.
Healing after birth is about more than physical recovery.
I believe postpartum wellness is supported through nourishment, rest, movement, emotional care, community, education, and thoughtful herbal traditions.
By honoring both modern evidence and time-tested practices, I strive to support recovery in a way that nurtures the whole person—not just one aspect of their wellbeing.
When you invite me into your home, you are inviting someone into one of the most vulnerable and transformative seasons of your life. I don’t take that responsibility lightly.
My promise is to provide compassionate, nonjudgmental care that honors your family’s values while offering practical support, trusted education, and a calming presence. Whether I’m helping you care for your newborn, answering questions, preparing a nourishing meal, or simply reminding you to rest, my hope is that you feel more supported, more confident, and more at ease after every visit.
Because postpartum care isn’t simply about getting through the fourth trimester. It’s about helping families begin this new chapter with strength, confidence, and the support they deserve.
